Amy,

Attached is the invoice from Stivers Subaru. The Service Manager and General
Manager's explanation as to why they charged me the $90 was illogical and I felt
that the dealership was "padding" their bill. I appreciate your correcting this
monetary issue, but the ethical issue still remains, and the dealership and
their management/leadership should be made aware.

Jamey, Thank you for the reply. He called on
Saturday to address my concerns about the Service Department's overcharge for a
2nd Diagnostic. We had paid for one just a week before at another dealership
and had it faxed to Stivers. See attached invoice with apparent response from
Service Manager. However, I was told on the phone by the service manager that
this $90 charge was NOT for a diagnostic test, but rather to reduce my per hour
service rate. The sophistic explanation was insulting to my intelligence. It did
not make any sense to me and I asked him to write that out on the invoice and
fax it to me... he did not actually write what he told me, for it just was not
logical and would have discredited and made him look ridiculous. The fax is
attached. I expect the $90 to be refunded on my wife's credit card by Monday
afternoon. Thanks, JP/

I will have the General Manager contact you.

*** IN all fairness... I have added this addendum.... after about 2 or 3 days I did get a $90 check from the General Manager of the dealership for the overbill.
