HHI Concours d'Elegance 2007

Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance

A great weekend with Tony and Doris Battista and their 1931 LaSalle at the 2007 Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance and Motoring Festival. Alas, my 1971 Alfa GTAm was not ready for the show, so I went empty handed, but still managed to help out Tony prep his car for the show and take in 2 full days of automotive history and some damn beautiful cars.

Tony Battista and crew in front of his 31' LaSalle

A fine example of a Bazarrini (Class winner)

HHICE Peoples Choice Winner a well done Scarab

Even bumped into Dennis Gage from the Speed Channel

A fine restored Alfa... locally owned by a fellow in Savannah

Anna in front of one of several Micro Cars from the Lane Museum (TN)

Met some cool folks, Mario an Italian fellow who had an all original 1970s Maserati Ghibli, and a few Alfaesti with their well groomed cars. Met a nifty fellow from SLR who helped put together an awesome Aston-Martin for the show and even hooked up with Dr. Ron Finger (who was there with an early model Caddy). Took some time away from the show to have dinner with Mike and Debbie Cahoon at Flavors. See pictures below:

Nicely Restored c.1950's Caddy

A Ferrari Daytona (599 GTB) 2007

Exquisite example of a Ferrari Dino

Super nice Bugatti
